Congratulations to...

Seven OIS students played in a 7 aside football tournament last week and won their grade. It was a great effort and went down to extra time in the final. Congratulations to; Daniel Jorgensen, Alex Bond, Maxwell Winter, Jack White and Kouper Lynch.

FOOD TECH - HENS

Looking for any donation of surplus laying hens. We have a large run and hutch and use the eggs in Food Technology through our 'Garden to Plate' programme.

EPRO8

Epro8 teams have been working hard to complete their build for the first round of heats. Each team has to come up with a concept and build a structure out of specific materials and within certain rules and criteria. They have been having lots of fun.

During the Learning Conversations, a Book Fair will be running in the Library

The Book Fair will be open Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July - 2.15pm to 7.00pm, and Thursday 30 May - 3pm to 6pm. We encourage parents to take time to have a look at the amazing selection of books on offer. EFTPOS available.

LEARNING CONVERSATIONS next week - bookings CLOSE on Wednesday

BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN. These 15-minute conversations are an important part of our learning programme. They allow you as parents to be informed of your childs progress and what they need to be doing to make further gains. These will take place on Tuesday 28 July, Wednesday 29 July and Thursday 30 July. The school will finish at 2 pm Tuesday 28 July, 2 pm Wednesday 29 July and 3.05 pm Thursday 30 July.

Build Club - written by Maddox Allan

Some fine people (Maddox, Rayffe, Luke, Noah and Lee) made some scooter ramps for scooter/skate club. It took us nearly a whole term. We had our ups and downs but we worked hard and together to get the job done, but we could never have done it without Mr King the Hard Materials teacher and Mrs Meek for making a scooter club so... Thank you:)
