EPRO8

On Tuesday afternoon two of our EPro8 teams travelled to Dunedin to compete in the Otago Regional Finals. For three hours our students raced to complete engineering challenges of increasing difficulty.

Enrolment Zone Scheme

Oamaru Intermediate has been directed by the Ministry of Education under the Education Training Act 2020 to engage in an Enrolment Zone Scheme process. I would like to acknowledge the significant time the Board has given in this process so far. Rebecca OSullivan, BOT Chairperson.

EPRO8

At the end of Term 1, four teams of students completed in the EPro8 Engineering Challenge against other schools from the Waitaki District. The students were asked to design and build a scale model of a famous landmark and then detonate 3 fireworks (party poppers) off it, from a distance of at least 2 metres.
