Tahlia Sherwin Release Teacher

Tahlia is excited to bring her passion for teaching and children to OIS.

Tahlia is a local girl, who attended St Kevin’s College before moving on to the University of Canterbury, where she completed her Bachelor in Teaching.

Tahlia loves teaching children, especially years 7 and 8. Her main focus is to create a positive, welcoming environment where every child feels valued. Tahlia aims to help each child grow and succeed by celebrating their unique qualities and supporting their learning journey. 

When Tahlia is not in the classroom, she enjoys keeping active, either at the gym or playing netball for her club Maheno. She enjoys getting away in the summertime with her family and friends, where they go camping and jet skiing.
