If you have any of the chocolate slabs leftover or part boxes that you cannot sell, please return these to school TOMORROW. They must be returned in the original box and all the money for the sold slabs in the box too. We have some families that have presold extra boxes! Thank you.
Children can come to school in PE gear. The starting time of 1.15 pm is for the competitive event, the non-competitive event is after. All students are encouraged to participate in this as either an individual or as part of a team; completing either the swim, bike or run.
As week 5 draws to an end, it is hard to believe that we are at the start of a new month. We have certainly hit the floor running. Both Year 7 and 8 have had their first technology rotation, it has been great to see so much engagement and success for students.
The first meeting for 2021 will be held next Monday 8 March in Room 11 starting at 7 pm. If you know of any new parents joining the school this year please encourage them to come along. All Welcome!
Students will finish school at 1.30pm on this day as our staff will be participating in a First Aid Training Course. There will be supervision for those students who catch the bus after school. You must contact the office (4370822) A.S.A.P. to let the office know if you wish your child to be supervised.

Kia Ora parents and whanau. The Prime Minister has just announced that we are moving to Alert Level 2. I want to reassure you that we have sound level 2 practices in place for all staff and students. At Alert Level 2 Oamaru Intermediate School will remain open.
O.I.S. P.T.A. WHITTAKER'S CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER 2021. Our major fundraiser for this year is the sale of Whittaker's Slabs. The success of this delicious and popular fundraiser will provide us with money to assist with the cost of the Shade Sails for our school. The sale price of $2 keeps the process simple. The O.I.S. Thank you for your support on Tuesday night at the Meet the Teacher and Year 8 camp information evening, it was exciting to see so many parents. Year 8 children will be coming home with camp information today. It is important that you get your forms back in on time.

The Vision Hearing Technicians from Public Health South will be visiting our school on the Tuesday 16 March to screen all Year 7 for distance vision.
