Technology this week....

Food Technology: They have done some great work making Teriyaki Chicken Sushi rolls. We are learning to manage our time, use a variety of chef's knives and learning how to prevent cross-contamination while preparing chicken.

This year in Hard Materials Years 8s are learning about Reducing, Reusing and Recycling.  They are making low power LED desk lamps that are made from old tin cans and sustainably sourced Radiata pine.

Digitech

Guns - Year 7 students making digital Nerf shooter targets with Makey Makeys and Scratch.

Burning - Year 8 students undertake flame tests, to test the flame sensor systems they built using microcomputers/flame sensors.

Digi Extension - Students learning how to replace Chromebook screens in the Digi extension group
