It was an absolute honour to watch our Pasifika group at their performance this week at Polyfest in Dunedin. Although I was unable to travel with them, I was so grateful for the live-stream that allowed me to witness their incredible talent and hard work. I couldn’t be more proud of our students and tamariki.
A special thank you to Whaea Isabelle and Vika and the team who have invested countless hours in supporting our students both on and off the stage. Your dedication and commitment are deeply appreciated, and we are truly blessed to have you on our staff.
To our tamariki, a huge thank you for your energy and commitment to ensuring the performance was a great success. Your dedication and enthusiasm were evident and truly brought the performances to life. We are incredibly proud of every one of you.
To the families and supporters who travelled down to cheer on our students, your presence and encouragement meant the world to us. It is the combined efforts of our students, staff, and community that make events like this so special.
As we reflect on this week, let’s carry forward the spirit of teamwork and celebration. Thank you to everyone who has made donations towards our EOTC raffles. It has been fantastic to see many of our students taking the initiative to sell raffle and lotto tickets to support their 2025 camping programme.
Your contributions are vital in supporting the vibrant culture of Oamaru Intermediate School. Here’s to continuing our collective efforts and celebrating many more successes together!
