Unfortunately this morning we had a visit from two youths before 9am who walked through our grounds using inappropriate language and displaying unsafe behaviour.

As a precaution, we put the school into lockdown, until support came from our local Police. This was to ensure that students were kept safe. As a follow-up, I spoke with the school about how proud I was of a number of students who quickly found adults and came and alerted the office to the youths being on the grounds.

It is a timely reminder to our students that if they see or hear something that makes them feel unsafe, they must seek support from an adult.
