THANK YOU to the students of Oamaru Intermediate

The Oamaru Combined Churches Christmas Parcels Trust wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to the students and community of Oamaru Intermediate. They were blown away at the presents we had bought with the proceeds from our Mufti Day for the Christmas Parcels Project.

After school Art Programme

This year OIS hosted an afterschool Art Programme for our students. This was an opportunity for the students to try any medium they wanted, experiment and be creative. We were able to include such things as wire art, masks, face painting, foot and mouth painting, glad-wrap and portraits, to name a few.

Tēnā koutou katoa, Malo e lelei, Talofa lava, Bula vinaka Thank you to those families that were able to support our Showcase this week, it was wonderful to be able to present the many talents our students have. A very special mention to Jamie Cowie who co-ordinated the show and shared her singing talents with us, this certainly was an unexpected treat.

Futsal Payment Overdue

We have received our invoice from Football South and we still have 20 students who have not paid their fees. A note has been sent out to those students still to pay. We would appreciate payment before Monday 28 November please.

O.I.S. Showcase of Talent

Showcase will be next Wednesday 30 November at 6pm in the school hall. Gold coin donation please. There will be ice-creams available to buy at half time, cash only. All parents and caregivers are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult if they want to come and watch a friend.

This Trust offers support to parents of Year 6 and Year 8 pupils who foresee financial hardship in the purchasing of new uniform items as their child moves into Year 7 and Year 9 at High School.
