OIS are now collecting cans of food to help fill Salvation Army Foodbanks from Monday 6 - Wednesday 15 August.
The NZEI has advised the Oamaru Intermediate Board of Trustees that the principal and teachers at our school will be taking strike action on Wednesday 15 August 2018.

Over the holidays, students from OIS played in the North Otago Network Waitaki basketball competition.
After making their acrylic pens, Year 8 students showcased all their skills by independently creating stands for hot pots.

On Tuesday night two teams of OIS students participated in the Epro8 Challenge. This is the second year Oamaru Intermediate School has hosted the local heat and entered teams. The competition is an engineering and problem-solving race involving 800 schools throughout New Zealand.
