Waitaki District Youth Council are running an Outdoor Movie Night, on Friday 19 April, postponed date Saturday 20 April. At the Oamaru Gardens band Rotunda area, 6pm.

All Welcome, a gold coin donation for the Heart Foundation.

April Holiday Programme - School Years 2 to 7

Designed for kids in school Years 3 to 6, including talented Year 2's and fresh Year 7's, our programme offers a dynamic blend of basketball season preparation coaching, entertainment, and skill development. Led by experienced coaches, our emphasis is on fun and engaging activities that enhance basketball skills while instilling important in-game strategies. Whether your child is a seasoned player or just starting out, our programme caters to all skill levels with a memorable and rewarding basketball experience. (Social tile/Poster attached)

April Holiday Clinic - School Years 7 to 11
Designed for kids in school Years 8 to 11, including talented Year 7's. Prepare for the basketball season with our intensive coaching sessions focused on skill development leading into immersive game experiences. Squash - Junior Squash Coaching is happening Term 1 Wednesday's 3:30-4:30 down at the Oamaru Squash and Badminton Club. It's $2 a session and racquets are provided. Just turn up with clean sports shoes. 

Awamoa Football Club has opened up registrations for the season. They're open now until March 31st.

Calling all young musicians and singers - The Penguin Club in Oamaru is opening its stage to all young singers, budding musicians, and garage bands from ages 11-18 to showcase their talent on Mother's Day Sunday 12th May at 2 pm (adult helpers allowed). The Oamaru Bricktopia Show will be on the weekend of April 13th and 14th, the first weekend of the school holidays. The show this year will be held in the Scottish Hall. We run a LEGO building competition for children and we encourage them to create something to display at the show and they could win a LEGO prize. Details are attached to the poster. There are LEGO activities for kids and adults to enjoy and a display of LEGO models and wonderful creations from exhibitors.
