Victoria Forrest Assistant Principal Year 8 - Room 4 teacher, COL Across School Lead

Vic first started teaching at Oamaru Intermediate in 2006, with breaks here and there to have children and travel.

During this time she has been a Year 7 teacher, a Year 8 teacher and a Digital Technology teacher to both year groups.

She loves teaching and seeing the light in a student's eye as they 'get it' or overcome a hurdle. Every day is different, and she is always amazed at what knowledge students bring and how well they challenge themselves and persevere in their learning.

Vic loves being outside - running, biking, camping and water sports are some of her favourite pastimes. She has two very active boys at home who keep her on her toes and constantly remind her how important it is to encourage and support people on their learning journeys.

Vic is also our Waitaki Ara Kāhui Ako Across School Lead Teacher.
