NZEI Union Meeting TOMORROW

Our teachers will be attending the Waitaki NZEI Branch Union Meeting on Friday 10th May at 1.30pm. There will be no classes in the afternoon and we would appreciate if you could make arrangements for your child after 12.30pm on that Friday.

Your support of staff to attend this meeting will be much appreciated as we are very concerned about the future of our profession if current working conditions are not addressed. We are currently facing a teacher crisis in NZ - we don't have enough teachers to staff schools and we don't have enough trainees to fill vacancies in the next few years.
