Year 8 social 2018 - Masquerade

By Frances Campbell | Posted: Thursday November 29, 2018

For our Year 8 students to celebrate their two years at OIS.

When: Wednesday 12th December, 6.30 to 8.30pm

Where: Oamaru Intermediate School Hall

Who: All Year 8 students who make positive choices

Why: To celebrate their two fabulous years at OIS

Bring: A plate of finger food. Please do not send along bags of chips or anything that needs reheating, home made food is always the most popular!

Drinks: Bottles of water will be available for purchase

Dress: The theme is “Masquerade”. Students are welcome to wear the masks they have made at school.

We ask that the children dress tidily. Please do not feel pressured to spend a fortune on a whole new outfit, this is not our intention.

***Foot wear – Flat, soft soled shoes please. No heels allowed.

Please leave cell phones at home. Children will not be released before 8.30pm, therefore they will not need phones to contact you.

As usual children who do not make positive choices between now and then will not be invited to the social. This is a great way to finish off the year and we look forward to seeing you all there. Parents are invited to join us at 8:00pm for supper and the final round of dances.

Students will be bringing home a permission slip on Friday 1st December for parents / caregivers to sign.
