Class trips, Polyfest, chess club, Agri challenges and EPro8 have all relied on parent and community support.
Many hours have been spent by parents coaching and supporting sports teams and cultural groups. In excess of 50 parents have supported our camping programmes.
Parents have shared knowledge and skills with classes and provided transport to events. Without this support many of our extra-curriculum activities would not take place.
The most important area of support is the interest and encouragement that you give to your child to engage in their learning.
O.I.S. operates as a team. The teachers and teacher aides along with administrative staff are a key part of the success of our school. I am grateful for their dedication.
As we break for the holiday season I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you have time to relax with your families.
