2018 O.I.S House Choir competition

The lead up has been intense and the competition rife, in both the staff and the students...

What a great afternoon at O.I.S!!!  Some beautiful singing, great dance moves and colourful props.  This year each house sang 'E Rere Taku Poi' and a chosen piece by a New Zealand artist: Konini - Closer by six60, Kowhai - Slice of Heaven by Dave Dobbyn, Rata - Something in the Water by Brooke Fraser and Ngaio - Take it Easy by Stan Walker.  Congratulations to everyone involved. The final placings and awards were as follows:

Most Promising Conductor - April Linares-Fontona (Konini)

Best Soloist - Noa Smith (Konini)

Best Accompanist -Joel Downing (Konini)
