Japanese students from Osaka were homestayed for a week by OIS families. The students came to practice their English conversation skills and teach us some traditional Japanese games.

Japanese Students 2018

Room 13 loved having the Japanese students here at OIS. We learned how to count from one to ten in Japanese and enjoyed talking with them in English.

We enjoyed learning about Japan. We even went on google maps and climbed Mount Fuji which sits at 3,776 metres high! It is always filled with crowds of people who are climbing the famous mountain.

Japanese school uniforms are amazing! They look very different to all the uniforms we have in NZ. They look so smart and comfy.

Thank you so much for coming Japanese Students. We enjoyed your stay and we hope to stay in touch.
