O.I.S Success at 'Film makers in schools' competition

4 teams from O.I.S entered a film into the local film makers competetion and all 4 made the cut.

Last night was a great celebration of filmmakers from around North Otago schools, with 24 films being showcased from 6 schools.  Oamaru Intermediate were lucky enough to come away with 5 awards.  We had 4 films entered "Our Precious Water, The Loch, The Oamaru Botanical Gardens and The Enviro Police".

1st place in "Best in primary schools"  (The Loch)

2nd place in "Best in primary schools"  (The Enviro Police)

2nd place in "Best theme"  (Our Precious Water)

3rd place in "People's choice"  (The Loch)

2nd place in most promising filmmaker  (Cody Wall-Aitken)
