Wattie's Cans for Good - making a difference in our community

OIS are now collecting cans of food to help fill Salvation Army Foodbanks from Monday 6 - Wednesday 15 August.

This year our Student Council have decided to get involved with 'Wattie's Cans for Good'. This is an annual charitable can collection drive. Together we can make a difference.

Our goal is to collect more than 400 cans (we have 144 cans so far) and if we do, we will have a MUFTI DAY on Friday 17 August. Bring cans to school during the collection time frame and we will keep a tally. Remember our goal is 400 cans!

Last year there were 65,000 cans collected nationwide and Wattie's generously donated an additional 90,000 cans. This significant contribution helps to make up food parcels for those who need food assistance.
