After school Art Programme

This year OIS hosted an afterschool Art Programme for our students. This was an opportunity for the students to try any medium they wanted, experiment and be creative. We were able to include such things as wire art, masks, face painting, foot and mouth painting, glad-wrap and portraits, to name a few.

The group finished off with a visit to a couple of Oamaru Galleries last Monday with Donna Demente and Martin Horspool building retro robots. Both these galleries gave the students a different perspective of what art can look like. We thank those galleries for taking the time to show our students around.
