Alert Level 4 continued...

By Rebecca Meek | Posted: Friday August 20, 2021

Firstly, a huge thank you to all of those, a definite vast majority, that completed the information survey we sent out. We had over half the school complete it within 12 hours. The Prime Minister has announced that we will continue to be in Alert Level 4 until Tuesday. This means that all schools are continuing to be closed (this includes the school grounds). We will be teaching online during Alert Levels 4 and 3, information will be emailed on Sunday from classroom teachers around what next week’s learning will look like.

Important things to note:

  • We will be delivering home learning packs on Sunday to all students who have indicated that they don’t have a device or would like supplementary work. This will be delivered to your mailbox. If you haven’t yet completed the information gathering sheet please do this.
  • We are unable to supply devices.
  • Please don’t stress about work completion. The work provided is an option for children to do, if your child is able to get to their class meet up on a Monday and Friday that would be excellent to help keep your child connected.
  • If you need anything then your teacher is the first point of contact. They will be on email during the day as per a normal week.
  • We will be sending information articles any time the government makes a level change announcement, or we get new information from the Ministry.
  • Classroom teachers will be in touch each Sunday as normal with an informative email about the week ahead.

We understand that this situation can be stressful for many, please reach out if you need support.

Stay safe, we have been here before and can do it again.
