Welcome back to school for term 3.

Tēnā koutou katoa, Malo e lelei, Talofa lava, Bula vinaka. We have another very busy term coming up with James Hargest, Stars on Stage, Winter sport, and Polyfest to name a few.

Please take the time this afternoon to ensure that your child has their uniform sorted for tomorrow. At the end of the last term we noticed a number of students turning up to school without their blue jersey, students are allowed to wear a jacket at break times, however, they must have their school jersey on first. A reminder that nail polish and jewellery need to be removed for school tomorrow: one pair of plain studs and a watch is the only jewellery permitted.

With all the wet weather that we have had, the school grounds are very wet in places and haven’t had a chance to dry out. This term we are asking students to take shoes off and leave them outside the classroom. Please ensure that your child’s shoes are named inside - students are welcome to bring another pair of socks or slippers to wear inside the classroom. Obviously, due to safety reasons, students will leave their black shoes on while participating in their Technology classes.

If your child catches the town bus check look at this link https://www.pearsonscoachlines.co.nz/school-transport/. A huge shout out to Pearsons who have stepped up and taken over this service for our children.

Have a wonderful week

Rebecca Meek, Principal.
