EPRO8

At the end of Term 1, four teams of students completed in the EPro8 Engineering Challenge against other schools from the Waitaki District. The students were asked to design and build a scale model of a famous landmark and then detonate 3 fireworks (party poppers) off it, from a distance of at least 2 metres.

This week it was announced that two of our teams have been selected to compete in the Otago Regional finals next month. Congratulations to The LIghtbulbs with an impressive Big Ben, and The Right Angles who created our very own Waitaki District Council building, we wish you all the best in Dunedin.
