Stitching it up in Textiles Technology with Year 8s

This year Textiles Technology is a minor focus for our Year 8s. They enjoyed revisiting using the machines and an introduction to our five new sewing computers.

Their learning focus was to design and create a textile item, building on prior sewing skills either from their time as a Y7 or previous experience e.g. home, grandparents etc.  

Our Textiles room will now be out of action for the rest of the year, throughout the OIS classroom rebuild.
