LOVE TENNIS 2020

Love Tennis 2020 will take place on 10 & 11 October, from 1 pm - 4 pm each day at the grass tennis courts, 32 Chelmer Street (beside the domain playground). Just turn up!

208 tennis clubs from across New Zealand will be open to everyone, encouraging their local community to give tennis a go. Love Tennis 2020 will be held on 10 & 11 October, 1 pm - 4 pm each day. The event is open to all ages and abilities and is 100% free to attend. 

Every club taking part will offer opportunities to have a go at tennis, with social games and free coaching tips and instruction on offer. There are giveaways including Rebel Sport vouchers and 200 Hell Pizza vouchers at every club. A major prize draw will be held for an exclusive hospitality package at a top-level tennis event this summer, including flights and accommodation. 

Now in its 6th year, Love Tennis weekend has seen thousands of New Zealanders introduced to tennis and has helped drive a significant increase in tennis club membership nationally. This year Tennis NZ has invested significantly in the event to ensure all clubs are able to take part at no cost. Love Tennis is a finalist in the 2020 NZ Sport & Recreation Awards Event Excellence category.
