Tena Kotou katoa, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Greetings Over the last twelve years, Oamaru Intermediate School has been very capably led by Mary Healey. All good things must come to an end, and so it is with the greatest regret that I have to advise parents, staff, and students today that Mary will be retiring at the end of the current school year.

As soon as practicable, the Board will advise both the school family and the wider Oamaru community regarding opportunities to say goodbye to Mary. Similarly, a detailed timeline of the process for appointing Mary’s replacement will be released when it is finalised.

Firstly, the Board will welcome input from anyone interested in sharing the most important attributes they feel our new principal should have.
