Weekly attendance collection for COVID-19 period

The Ministry of Education is asking all schools to submit attendance data weekly from the 29 May. The purpose is to:

  • report to the National Crisis Monitoring Centre and Government on levels of attendance during the COVID-19 period
  • inform and support Ministry planning for students and schools returning to normal operation, and
  • evaluate and report on the effectiveness of initiatives implemented by the Ministry to respond and manage its response to COVID-19.

It is imperative that if your child is unwell they remain at home. Parents are required to ring the school office before 9am (4370822) each day or text 022 327 5057 with your child's name and reason for the absence.

Non-contact from parents will result in your child being recorded as truant. Please make this your priority in the morning if your child is away from school.
