Christmas Message from our Principal

We are now definitely on the countdown for the end of 2019. I would like to express my gratitude to the many parents, families, community and sports groups who have supported us in so many ways.

We work hard to provide your children with many opportunities at O.I.S. but rely on your help.

I would also like to thank all of my staff who go above and beyond what is in their contract of work, to support your children.

I have spent the last week reading all the reports and I have been impressed with the significant progress made by many students. This is a real testament to their work ethic and the quality teaching they have had.

Reports will be coming home today. As you read them, please read the inside cover which explains the expected curriculum level of achievement, and you can then see inside the report the dots which reflect progress made and the current level of achievement.

I wish you all the peace and joy of Christmas and hope you get to spend quality time with family and friends.
