Stitching it up in Textiles Technology with Year 7s

This year Textiles Technology is a minor focus, with our Year 7s enjoying an introduction on how to use the machines and our new sewing computers.

They learned the basics of stitching straight lines, using a variety of stitch patterns, how to turn corners and sew curved lines.  This led into designing and creating a simple outcome.  

Our Textiles room will be out of action for the rest of the year, due to the OIS classroom rebuild.
