From the Board.....

At our last BOT meeting the BOT were presented with three reports.

The Arts Curriculum Report showed that our students are exposed to and given opportunities in a huge range of activities, singing, dancing, polyfest, hui ako, Kapahaka, Pasifika, ukulele to name a few! We look forward to our annual showcase coming up this term where students have the opportunity to show us their talent and to shine.

The Health and PE Curriculum Report showed that OIS provides a huge number of opportunities and experiences to promote positive well-being. We have a high number of sports teams resulting in high numbers of student participation.

Special Needs Report - This comprehensive report showed that we have a large team of people all who have specific responsibilities, who work collaboratively to have pupils participating as fully as possible in regular classroom life. Teacher Aides are playing a crucial role in this, and we are extremely lucky to have such an amazing team.
