On Friday 30 August at Oamaru Intermediate school, a bake sale and mufti day were held to raise money for The Child Cancer Foundation. The total funds raised came to $933.20.
Some may know that a Bake Off, for the same cause, was held last year. Last year we raised $376.70.
This year we decided not to have a bake off competition, just to sell baking instead. We raised $569.20 from the bake sale and with the added mufti day money it totalled $933.20.
If we add this year and last years totals, we get $1309.90!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped out. Thank you to Iza Brazil, Mackenzie Wilson and Tia Johansen for your help on the day too.
A HUGE THANK YOU to the original organisers that had the idea from last year, Natalie Bedford and Ella Symes.
