St John's in Schools

Last week every class had a free session with Kirsty from St John's in Schools around emergency first aid.

All students had the opportunity to learn and ...

• describe appropriate responses to a variety of situations requiring first aid
• demonstrate the assessment of a patient using DRSABC and take appropriate action
• demonstrate the appropriate responses for an unconscious patient and perform effective CPR.

There was a lot of great discussions and students learn some new skills. What a great opportunity for our students to participate in. The photos are of Room 13 in action.
