Year 8 Art Technology

This year the focus in art technology has been on photography skills and composition.

Students created three separate artworks that demonstrated their knowledge of an artist and taught photography skills.

These photos are a sample of their second outcome. After studying the entertaining art of Stephen McMennamy, students were asked to plan and create their own photo juxtaposition by combining two photographs to create one surreal image. This is harder than it looks but the results were worth the effort.
